CLINICAL SESSIONS

In Singapore, The Red Pencil has operated arts therapy clinical sessions since its inception. These programmes are designed to allow beneficiaries to engage in a minimum of 8 arts therapy sessions (extendable upon recommendation of the arts therapist), whether individually or in groups.

COMMUNITY AND AWARENESS EVENTS

The Red Pencil promotes arts as a way of self-care and mental wellness. Our presence at museums, schools, art fairs, and community service events are aimed at promoting arts and wellbeing, and reaching out to the local community.

WORKSHOPS

Participants can experience the power and benefits of art therapy in a workshop of 1.5 to 2 hours. Individuals, no matter who they are or what stage in life they are at, can work towards healing and empowerment through art.

CORPORATE ARTS THERAPY

At The Red Pencil, we offer Corporate Arts Therapy that will be of value to the wellbeing of both the employees and the organisation.

Taking care of employees’ wellness not only helps reduce work-related stress and absenteeism, but also boosts workplace productivity.

ONLINE WORKSHOPS

In light of COVID-19, we have developed online art therapy programmes to ensure that vulnerable individuals continue to receive the mental health and psychosocial support that they need during these stressful times. One of such initiatives are our online art therapy experiential workshops which we hope will bring positivity and promote resilience in the local community.

ART THERAPY PROJECTS

This initiative on art therapy social action projects is to facilitate social change by engaging groups in the context of group art therapy. The goal is to empower the groups to build connections and create their narratives of their own community through visual means and be an agent of change to raise social awareness and reflections on the unique community experiences.

ID21 X CHILDREN’S WISHING WELL WORKSHOP

We had the honour of working with ID21 to organise an art workshop aimed at stress management for a group of young beneficiaries from registered charity organisation Children’s Wishing Well.

The workshop proved to be an immensely fulfilling experience for the ID21 volunteers, highlighting the importance of active listening and the need for safe environments where people feel comfortable to express themselves, be it children or adults.
